IEAQ Operations and Maintenance Manual

When implemented, the Manual improves IEAQ through a set of systematic policies, procedures and protocols, all of which focus on prevention through minimizing occupant exposure to pollutants while maintaining their comfort and the building's aesthetics. Large, publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), government agencies, property owners, property managers, as well as tenants have adopted the Manual. This Manual was designed for the prevention, recognition, evaluation and control of IEAQ problems – beginning with awareness.

NOTE: Our Manual was developed using the guidelines established by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA), the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
