Building Health Sciences to Participate in NAHB Webinar on Chinese Drywall

Dr. Manis, Chief Medical Officer, supported by her team of Allan Burt, building scientist, and Ed Light, Certified Industrial Hygienist, will be offering a free webinar in conjunction with the National Association of Home Builders and the insurance broker and risk advisor, Marsh.

Home builders can get the most current information about testing, remediation protocols for corrosive drywall, and about the insurance ramifications of homes built with corrosive Chinese drywall.

The webinar, "Evolving Solutions to the Corrosive Drywall Crisis," will be held from 12:00-1:30 p.m. EST on Thursday, March 11. The panel of experts will discuss:

  • What you can tell their customers and home owners
  • How you can answer customer and home owner questions
  • Appropriate testing protocols to determine if corrosive drywall is present
  • Recent activities by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and HUD that affect builders

The webinar will include a question and answer period at the end of the presentation. In addition to Dr. Manis, the panel includes experts from Marsh:
